My issue happened in 2005. I cannot recall the exact phrase but I determined that they lost the attached check. If you look at my old posts, you will find how my issue was resolved. The re-submission letter must be marked with "mail-room - do not open" and should be sent to service center director directly.

Yes i did. It was the same way for my dad when i was on H-1B.
I sent him the copies of my 140, 485, and EAD and also an employment letter from my new employer , as i have used AC-21.
He was asked what i am doing and he told them i am working for XYX company and has also filed his GC. The office said all the best to him and granted my dad a 10 year multiple visa. If you have any questions, please send me a message.

Did you change your address. Sometimes they send denial at the old address. Also you need a lawyer now with the print out of the page where it lists pending. This forum cant help with this situation as an appeal is needed in your case.

I have been advocating IV to many of my friends, Most of them are shown interest on the Information only, but when it comes to the contribution they show least interest on it and expect some one else to take part in it. It�s very hard to convince them, but I am not tired and I will keep on pursuing them.

I am currently on OPT which is valid till July 2009. Also, my H1-B is approved through a company X starting oct 2008. Currently I got a job with company Y on my OPT. Can I continue to work on my OPT with company Y till July 2009? OR Do I need to transfer my H1B to company Y from company X to be able to continue to work after Oct 2008?

There is some potential good news on the horizon. DHS just published a notice (http://www.regulations.gov/fdmspubli...0000648072c5eb) that they intend to consolidate three of ancient CIS electronic record systems into a new database. Hopefully, this new database will yield the data the Visa Office needs.
Right now, the CIS does not have any comprehensive database that shows how many AOS cases are pending by preference classification, priority date, and country of chargeability. The new database that is supposed to become operational within the next ten days contains information gathered from the many independent CIS databases. Supposedly, this new database will show all of this information.
Once the CIS is able to provide the State Department with this information, the Visa Office will then (for the first time) have accurate information as to the actual demand for immigrant visas. They will then be able to make more accurate adjustments to the cutoff dates in the Visa Bulletin. For some time now, they have been flying blind without accurate information.

The online AR11 form is giving 2 options . which one should we choose?
Only the first option (for US citizen) is giving options for pending cases!!!!

Even when NC is pending the actual EB1/2/3 GC is a regular 10 year validity (validity of the card) GC with no annotations/conditions.
How do you know that your 485 was approved even if NC was pending? Does your GC - physical card or the approval notice/emails - indicate that your approval is contingent on NC?

I see 30 -40 k spill over this year but if my above post is true. DOS will not give any visas from spill to EB2 ROW or Eb1 once quarter is done. Otherwise spill over visas reduces as times passes and Eb2 Row and Eb1 gets more and more visas. I am waiting for DOL reports for past 2 months but they haven't post anything yet. That can clarify things lot.

If you have the case no. go to online case status and take the print out of approved notice, that should serve you purpose hopefully if you don�t have a original copy

I have no idea what was filed for me? job description or salary req.???

why we need photocopies? WHY USCIS expects us to have those? They are considered employer documents and most established employers do not share them with employees?

Hello friends;
Need some information on studies while on EAD. I am a EB3 (Aug 2004) and so my daughter too. She is in final year of her graduation and applying for Med schools after a competitive score in MCATs. Got a rejection from Arkansas college as she is not a GC holder yet. So I was wondering if anyone studying medicine on EAD?
Most of the colleges wont say about eligibility while applying and the application does not have a immigration category for AOS, it has Dependent, F1, GC and others. We had to go with Others option, ofcourse specified about AOS in rermarks.

Yes for new applicants it's wonderful. For old applicants it's double the money and double the time (to get GC counting time from the first time they applied for GC ) or even more time than the new applicants.

L1 has been in use for past 12 years...and the L1 holders have been working at client sites.
TCS never does grean cards, WIPRO rarely does, that too in 5th year of H1. InFOSYS rarely does. CTS is the one who does many H1s, L1s and green cards, green cards in EB1.
When consulting companies are misusing H1s, why cant companies like TCS,WIPRO,CTS,HCL misuse L1s...Nobody is honest in US. Nobody is working honestly in US. Less than 1% in US are honest. And those people will be working as developer forever.
